Kids kick Covid

Kids Kick Covid is an opportunity for young children to destress from this year long pandemic! The session will start with fun movement-based games (parachute games, obstacle course, etc) lead by Dr. Chandi, pediatric physical therapist and end with a circle time group discussion on handling stress which will be lead by our guest pediatric behavioral therapist, Arielle Brown, MA, LCMHC, NCC (bio below).  

 

*CDC Guidelines will be utilized including masks, social distancing, hand sanitizing, and cleaning during this session to keep our young ones safe and healthy!  Please bring your child's own snack/water and yoga mat or towel during for the socially distant group discussion. 

      Register your children for 1 or both days and make it a stress-free weekend!  

 

                                                  Cost: $25 per session

                   Sibling discount (2 or more from same household): $40

                                                                   Ari Brown - Guest Behavioral Therapist

Arielle Brown, MA, LCMHC, NCC, has been practicing behavioral health therapy since 2017. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Women’s Studies at UNC Chapel HIll and received her Masters in Counseling from UNC Charlotte along with a certificate in Play Therapy. Ari is also certified in Triple P, a training to help parents address their children’s behaviors in a positive way and increase their confidence as parents. Ari has experience working in a variety of settings including public schools and in the community, and working with a number of behavioral and emotional concerns. Ari is passionate about helping children and their families achieve mental and emotional wellness and success.
